Perth County Courthouse

Look at that brickwork!

Standing on the steps of the Stratford Public Library - there's a cluster of great old architecture right around here.

  1. That is such a charming building! (I know the word doesn't quite fit the size, but it was the first thing that came to my mind.)

Don't forget to register for the January theme day! And the February 2009 theme poll is up! Please vote if you haven't already :)

  2. What an impressive old building. I think it is awesome when towns & cities are proud of their old building - restore them proudly show them off rather than replacing them with the new. It's like taking away your history

  3. We're very lucky to have so many people who are willing to fight to preserve these great old buildings. Stratford is a beautiful city because of them.

Hilda - I like to think big can be charming, too (especially around the holidays ;) ). And thank you - I'll sign up for the Theme Day.
