The Weekly Breakfast Working From Home Edition

The weekly breakfast working from home edition

The occasional working weekend is not so bad.  But wouldn’t it be nice to have French toast, bacon and coffee brought in to the office once in awhile to make up for it?

Sleep Well

Sweet dreams...

Squirrels’ nests look so exposed when the trees are bare.  We hope they’re keeping warm in there…

The Weekly Breakfast Running Errands Edition

The weekly breakfast running errands edition

Now that we’re both working full-time, Saturday morning has turned into the time for running errands.  And boy did we have a lot of them this morning!

So nice to come home to a breakfast of bacon, eggs and beans (even if it was lunchtime) .  Very British, very filling and very nap-inducing.

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend!

(See Leif, we did it!)

Like Gumdrops

Pink!

The shrubs in front of this house look like sugar-coated gumdrops.

Of course, the fact that the house is cotton-candy pink helps to foster the association.

A Garden in Winter

Winter garden

There’s something understatedly beautiful about the colours and shapes of this garden in the snow.

Why We Need to Flag Them

You can barely see it!

As the snow piles up, the hydrants disappear, which is why the city adds flags to the tops of them in the Fall.

(thankfully, some of that snow is melting today…)

Roofline and Moonlight

Roofline and moonlight

Well, it’s cold and flu season here at Stratford Daily Photo.  Neither one of us feels like heading outside to take pictures, even though it’s a freakin’ winter wonderland out there.

So we’re dipping into the archives with this picture from late November, before the snow started, back when life was good…

Moonlight in the daytime is always a bit magical, don’t you think?
