Downie Street

Downie Street in downtown Stratford

The really cool thing about Stratford is that from certain angles it looks like you’re in a big city.  But then you turn the corner and you’re in a small town. 

This block of buildings is on Downie Street.  Originally, the bit on the corner was the Eaton’s Department Store, now subdivided into shops and offices.

(It’s pouring with rain here.  This picture was taken on a sunnier day when the photographer wasn’t refusing to head outside as she is today…)
