The Bells of St. James'

I love the balloons on the door - Happy Birthday, bells!

The bells of St. James' Anglican Church are celebrating a century of chiming today.

In a country as young as Canada, that's a huge milestone. Here's to the next 100 years!

    Wow, just think about the things those bells have chimed for...
    the endings of WW1 and WW2...
    marking the passages of generations of lifetime milestones (weddings, baptisms, funerals) of local aristocrats and commoners alike...

    boggles the mind.
