    I do not know of him but having read the article you reference, he was a passionate man of the arts. I do like the dressing down he gave at the public meeting. You must be feeling as Sydney would feel if our John Bell were to die.

    Very similar, I think (yes, I Googled him!).

    Except, of course, that Stratford is so much smaller than Sydney (only 30,000 people here) that the grief:person ratio is higher.

    Golly, I did not realise it was that small. I assumed that you were a suburb of a larger conglomerate. Yes, indeed, the grief would be more keenly felt. The vast majority of Sydney would ask which football team John Bell plays for!
