Another Saturday at the Farmers Market

On Saturday mornings, the vendors rest their feet while they can.  Soon it will be busy.

Look Up

On York Street

The view at street level is one thing.  Then you look up and it's a whole different city.

We Have Cygnets!!!

Look at the One on the Left!!!!!!

A family of swans out for a morning stroll.  These little fluff-balls hatched June 8.  There are two more hidden behind Mummy.

I love the neck on the one on the left.....

Stratford Fairgrounds has a campground

It's right inside the city.  It'll close in a few months when the new agriplex opens.

Stratford Police Pipe Band

We were out for a walk and heard the pipes. Followed the sound to the parking lot of the Legion Hall.

I clapped when they finished. They seemed surprised.

Soggy

Bench by the Avon River

We've had a lot of rain lately.  I decided to leave "sit by the river and dream" on the to-do list for another day....

The Festival Theatre

Festival Theatre

The Stratford Festival Theatre from the soccer grounds in front of it.  I love the juxtaposition of high culture and sweaty sport.  I love that they co-exist in this town so cheerfully.

York Street

Looking at the shops and fire-escapes along York Street.

These used to be the back doors of businesses along the busier Ontario Street. But through the years, storefronts and restaurants have moved in. It's now a thriving shopping area all on its own.

Sixty Four

Downtown, early evening. I especially like the bird sitting on top of the arch.

And I'm very pleased to have been accepted by City Daily Photo! If you've clicked over from there, welcome! I hope you enjoy my pictures!
